My Curatorial Approach

AN INTERSECTION OF ART & DESIGN

With a background steeped in artistic opportunities at Akasha Art Projects these past 10 years, coupled with sitting on various art committees, juries and panels, I've had the pleasure of working with and being surrounded by many talented artists and their work.

As an artist myself, a lover of art, design and an avid collector, I have a strong sense of visual aesthetics.

I put a lot of thought into the works chosen. Here is some insight into why I selected these particular artists and images for akasha art editions.

I look for artists whose work have unlimited creative use as I have come to understand that no matter the environment, the addition of a beautiful piece of art speaks volumes.  When curating, I look for artists that produce consistently strong bodies of work. I've chosen artists ranging from emerging to established and I love it when I come across an artist that has a current art practice with a consistent, iconic style.

For this collection, I feature five works from each artist that reflect a sense of cohesiveness, allowing these five pieces to be enjoyed individually or as a whole body of work to share throughout any interior. The works range from playful to luxurious to abstract and reflect statements specific to interior design styles from Mid Century Modern to Minimalist to Zen and beyond.

Artwork that makes a statement is our tagline, so I've specifically curated works from our roster of artists that are eye-catching and will complement your interior design aesthetic.

I hope you will connect with the artworks and that my thoughtfully curated selection of limited edition fine art prints will become focal points in any space whether you are an individual collector, art consultant or interior designer.
