Hugh spent much of his childhood either swimming in any available body of water or photographing landscapes that he then developed and printed in a homemade makeshift darkroom. His fascination with both activities has stayed with him throughout his life. Hugh studied photography at The Arts Institute at Bournemouth. He then went on to a career in professional photography that has taken him around the world working for a variety of clients. Hugh currently splits his time between Ontario and his cabin in Nova Scotia; either shooting professionally or working on personal projects.
